Alana

Alana is a four month old pup who was loose, wandering the streets of Antigua scrounging for food. She entered a restaurant and hid herself under a table, hoping for a quiet, safe spot to rest. The owner of the restaurant didn’t have the heart to put her back outside, but didn’t want her in the establishment, either. She was obviously lost and homeless as she was dirty, thin, and losing hair.

He called mutual friends and asked them to help. They picked her up, and we took her. Alana is a darling puppy, friendly, sweet, and very smart. She currently shares a run with mama dog Nina and her seven puppies, and they all get along great.

Alana is learning her basic obedience behaviours and is doing really well. She already has a solid sit, down, hand target, and come. She is sweet and friendly to all, and loves nothing more than a good cuddle. Alana is spayed and up to date on her puppy shots at this point, and is available for adoption.

We are a small organization dedicated to helping dogs and cats in Antigua. We sterilize, rehabilite and find homes, and work with other rescue groups.
