Yona is one of Cusca’s puppies. She is rough coated and looks something like a Schnauzer cross puppy. Actually, Yona looks very much like a baby hedgehog, and was named after the hedgehog in Watership Down. Yona and her sisters were shy when we received them, but with the love and gentle handling they receive from our wonderful volunteers she has really come out of her shell. She is now very friendly and happily runs to approach and play with people and with the other dogs. She is sweet and cuddly when picked up and held.

Yona is being clicker trained, and this has really helped build her confidence quickly. She is doing extremely well with her training, and eagerly looks forward to her sessions. Yona has received her first DHLPP vaccine, and is healthy and spayed. She is available for adoption.

Yona is about 2 1/2 months old and is already spayed.
