Silvie

Silvie was brought in from Jocotenango, a town near Antigua. She was being abused by a drunken man who was trying to sell her so he could buy more liquor. Friend Cesar took her away and brought her to us. Silvie was very young, probably only 7 weeks old, so she still trusted and liked people.  Apart from a heavy parasite load and a poor coat, she was in fairly good health. Silvie was likely born in June, 2014.

She is a sweet, friendly, happy puppy. She is very smart, and has already learned to sit, a nice down, a hand target and offers a paw in a shake. She loves to train and is eager and fun. She is learning to walk on a leash, and still working on her house training.

She loves people of all shapes and sizes, her doggie and kitty friends, and her toys. She already fetches and loves to play tug. Silvie is a very sweet, calm puppy and is an expert cuddler.

Silvie is spayed and has her first shots. She is ready for adoption.

We are a small organization dedicated to helping dogs and cats in Antigua. We sterilize, rehabilite and find homes, and work with other rescue groups.
